We are pleased to inform that the organizers of the most popular global footwear fair ie the Expo Riva Schuh, Garda, Italy, in partnership with CLE, is organizing the 3rd Edition of the Expo Riva Schuh India fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi during July 04-06, 2013. 
The Expo Riva Schuh India Fair is the first international exhibition in India exclusively dedicated to Finished Products in the Leather & Footwear sectors. The Second edition of the Expo Riva Schuh India Fair held during July 05-07, July 2012 featured the collections as many as 168 exhibitors from across the world.  On display were the main producers and manufacturers from Asian countries (China, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand) as well as some of the major Italian and Europe producers and brands.
There were 114 Overseas Companies in 1557 sq.mtrs and 54 Indian Companies in 1086 sq.mtrs of space.  The Overseas participation had increased marginally up from 102 in the July 2011 edition to 114 in the July 2012 edition.  China with 49 participants and Italy with 42 participants accounted for the bulk of the overseas participation.  Other EU and Asian countries represented at the fair were Austria, France, Germany, Spain, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand.  Buyer representatives from Italy, UK, Spain, Germany, Peru, Greece, Colombia, USA and UAE had visited the Fair. 
As per the Post Show Report, the second edition of Expo Riva Schuh India had 3,795 dealers visiting the fair which represented a 16.2% increase over the first edition of July 2011.  As per the report, there was a strong presence of International buyers interested in good quality Asian products at the right price point. 
Display Products in the subject fair will comprise Full Shoes, Sandals, Traditional Footwear as Joothies, Kolhapuris, Handbags, Wallets, Small Leather Goods, Belts, Travel Bags, Gloves and other Leather Accessories.  Over 40- 50% of the participants are expected to be from overseas.
Visitors will comprise Importers, Distributors  Wholesalers, Agents, Retail chains, Department Stores, Boutiques,  Private labels, Representatives of Fashion Brands & Buying Houses ; from India and across the world. Expo Riva Garda has already commenced a focused marketing campaign on such targeted customers and expects to bring in about 150 buyers from Europe alone, besides several more  from North & South America, ASEAN & SAARC countries too.
